Grass Jelly is a common snack enjoyed in East Asia and Southeast Asia. Perhaps the most unique thing about Grass Jelly is being made from a plant called Mesona Chinensis, hence the name.

Grass Jelly is known for its slightly bitter, yet minty and refreshing taste. Like most jelly, it is chewy in texture and will melt in your mouth.

- Is it vegetarian/vegan friendly?
Our products are made from 100% natural ingredients and plants, with no Gelatine, so rest assured it is completely vegan-friendly.
- How is it made?
Traditionally, Grass Jelly is handcrafted by the people in the highlands with a small cooking pot on a charcoal fire. Mesona leaves are dried, and then are mixed with corn starch to be boiled. When finished, the combination will be extracted into Grass Jelly.
- What ranges of products do you offer?
At the moment, Jelly Bird provides two ranges of products: Jelly Bird Classic and Jelly Bird Light.
The Classic line is made from natural ingredients with added sugar for the most authentic experience. As for the Light version, we replace sugar with an alternate sweetener, Stevia, reducing the amount of carbohydrates and calories consumed.

- What makes Jelly Bird different?
Our Herbal Grass Jelly is made from the cleanest ingredients, hand-picked by farmers in Cao Bang, Vietnam and with guidance from nutritionists at the Vietnam National Institute of Nutrition. We ensure that our products are of the highest quality and gone through a stringent process of quality control, saying no to any preservatives or harsh chemicals.
- How many calories?
Jelly Bird Classic contains 37 calories per 100g, while the Light version contains only 12. Surprised by the low calories?
- What is the shelf life?
Jelly Bird has an expiration date of 2 years, however we recommend using our products within 3 days after opening. Due to our packing technology, Jelly Bird can have a long shelf life even without using any preservatives.
- How much does it cost?
Depending on the bundles and combinations we offer, our prices vary.
Our bundles of 4 cost around £7.20 to £8.00, while prices for our bundles of 12 vary from £21.60 to £24.00. Our last bundle, a box of 32, ranges from £64.80 to £72.00.
- How much does delivery cost and how long does it take?
Delivery fee is £3.95 for Standard Delivery (3-5 working days) and £5 for Express Next Day Delivery (order must be placed before 12 pm, weekdays only).
All orders over £60 are eligible for free Standard Delivery.
